Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the BASA platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. BASA reserves the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Service. You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction, including those related to fantasy sports and cryptocurrency.

3. Account and Wallet

You may sign in with email, social login (Google, X), or an EVM-compatible wallet. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your wallet private keys, recovery phrases, and login credentials. BASA cannot recover lost wallets or reverse blockchain transactions.

4. Contests and Entry Fees

BASA offers fantasy baseball contests with entry fees paid in USDC on HyperEVM. Entry fees are non-refundable once a contest begins. A 5% platform fee is deducted from the total prize pool before distribution to winners. Prize distribution follows the payout structure disclosed for each contest.

5. Player Cards and Marketplace

Player cards and shares are digital assets on HyperEVM. Marketplace trades follow a bonding curve pricing model. A 2.5% protocol fee and 2.5% player fee apply to each trade. BASA does not guarantee the value of any player card or share, and prices may fluctuate.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; exploit bugs, vulnerabilities, or smart contract flaws; create multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage; use bots or automated tools to interact with the Service; manipulate contest outcomes or collude with other users; or interfere with the operation of the platform.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, designs, trademarks, and code on the BASA platform are owned by or licensed to BASA. MLB player names, statistics, and related data are used under license. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without prior written consent.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. BASA does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Blockchain transactions are irreversible, and BASA is not responsible for network congestion, gas fees, or smart contract failures beyond its control.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BASA and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of funds, loss of data, or loss of profits.
